# A BrewPage alternative for agent pages that should not expire

By Avatar 8 (Avatar 8 LLC) · Published November 2, 2026 · https://deed.page/blog/brewpage-alternative

A BrewPage alternative is another no-signup host where an AI agent or a person sends an HTML page, file, or folder and gets back a public link. BrewPage keeps a publication for 15 days by default and at most 30 days without a profile, or 90 with a free sign-in ([BrewPage llms.txt](https://brewpage.app/llms.txt)), while a deed.page Free site has no default expiry and stays up until you delete it, across 25 sites of up to 25 MB each ([pricing](https://deed.page/pricing)).

Every BrewPage claim below was read on brewpage.app on November 2, 2026, with the source linked next to it. Limits change, so check their pages before you decide. The deed.page commands were run against production the same morning with a 15-minute `X-Ttl`, and the test sites were then deleted.

## What is a good BrewPage alternative?

BrewPage and deed.page agree on the hard part: neither needs an account to publish. BrewPage returns an `ownerToken` on the first publish and asks agents to send it as `X-Owner-Token` on later updates ([source](https://brewpage.app/llms.txt)). deed.page works the same way with a `deed_tok_…` Bearer token.

The difference is how long the link lives and what it looks like. BrewPage's own docs say "Publications still expire", and an update keeps the original expiry instead of renewing it ([source](https://brewpage.app/llms-full.txt)). The server picks the page ID, so a link looks like `brewpage.app/public/aB3xK9mP2q` ([source](https://brewpage.app/llms-full.txt)). On deed.page the agent picks the slug, the site lives at `https://{slug}.deed.page/`, and there is no expiry unless you send `X-Ttl` yourself.

So if the page is a throwaway preview, BrewPage is a fine choice. If it is a report you will link from an email next month, a portfolio, or a status page a cron job updates every hour, a link that never expires matters more.

## Side by side (checked November 2, 2026)

| | BrewPage | deed.page |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Account to publish | None; owner token in the reply ([source](https://brewpage.app/llms.txt)) | None; token in the first reply |
| How long a page lives | 15 days default, 30 max, 90 with a free profile ([source](https://brewpage.app/api/limits)) | No default expiry; opt-in `X-Ttl` |
| Link | Server-assigned ID ([source](https://brewpage.app/llms-full.txt)) | Slug the agent picks, `{slug}.deed.page` |
| Site size | 200 files, 5 MiB per file, 20 MiB total ([source](https://brewpage.app/api/limits)) | 25 MB per site on Free, 100 MB on Hobby ([pricing](https://deed.page/pricing)) |
| Password | Free on any publication ([source](https://brewpage.app/compare)) | Hobby ($3/month) and Pro only |
| Custom domain | Listed as "Planned" ([source](https://brewpage.app/compare)) | 1 on Free, 3 on Hobby ([custom domains](https://deed.page/blog/custom-domains-via-api)) |
| Old versions | Not documented on the pages above | Last 10 kept on Free, each at a `v1--` permalink ([rollback](https://deed.page/blog/version-history-and-rollback)) |
| MCP | `https://brewpage.app/mcp`, no auth ([source](https://brewpage.app/llms.txt)) | `https://deed.page/mcp`, no sign-in |

Where BrewPage is ahead: free password protection, Markdown rendered as a styled page and 60+ file types previewed in the browser, built-in KV and JSON storage for small apps, a public gallery, and a paste-or-drop page that a person can use from a phone with no terminal ([source](https://brewpage.app/compare)). deed.page has no browser upload page, and Free deed.page sites show a small "Published with deed.page" link that Hobby removes.

## The one-line curl

```bash
curl -T index.html "https://deed.page/v1/sites?slug=trip-plan-b7r4&ref=blog"
```

The reply, trimmed:

```json
{"ok":true,"url":"https://trip-plan-b7r4.deed.page/","version":"v1","permanent":true,"version_url":"https://v1--trip-plan-b7r4.deed.page/","token":"deed_tok_…"}
```

`trip-plan-b7r4` is only an example; pick your own slug. The token is shown once and deed.page stores only its SHA-256, so save it right away ([token hygiene](https://deed.page/blog/token-hygiene-for-agents)). Running the same command with `-H "Authorization: Bearer $DEEDPAGE_TOKEN"` keeps the URL and bumps the version. In our test that returned `v2`, and the `v1--` permalink still served the first version.

## The MCP call

Add `https://deed.page/mcp` to Claude, Cursor, or any Streamable HTTP MCP client. "Put this page on deed.page" becomes one tool call:

```json
{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/call","params":{"name":"publish_site","arguments":{"slug":"trip-plan-mcp-b7r4","files":{"index.html":"<!doctype html><title>Trip plan</title><h1>Published over MCP</h1>"}}}}
```

Our test returned `"ok": true` and a live `https://trip-plan-mcp-b7r4.deed.page/`. The [MCP walkthrough](https://deed.page/blog/mcp-publish-walkthrough) covers updates, listing, and deletes.

## Moving a page from BrewPage

Keep the files you published, or save the page from its BrewPage link before it expires. Then send the folder as one tarball:

```bash
tar -czf site.tgz -C site . && curl -X PUT "https://deed.page/v1/sites?slug=trip-plan-b7r4" --data-binary @site.tgz -H "Content-Type: application/gzip" -H "Authorization: Bearer $DEEDPAGE_TOKEN"
```

In our test a two-file folder (HTML plus CSS) came back as `v3` with the stylesheet served as `text/css`. Bodies over 4 MB use the [large-site upload](https://deed.page/blog/plan-upload-large-sites). Send people the new `{slug}.deed.page` link, since BrewPage does not document a redirect from an old link.

## FAQ

**Is deed.page free like BrewPage?**
Yes. Free costs $0 and covers 25 sites of up to 25 MB each, with no account. Hobby is $3/month for 250 sites, a site password, and no badge.

**Do deed.page sites expire?**
No, not by default. A site stays up until its owner token deletes it, or until an `X-Ttl` you chose runs out.

**When should I stay on BrewPage?**
When you need a free password, Markdown rendering, or a page to paste into from a phone. Those are things BrewPage does on its free tier and deed.page does not.
